This is a rare First World War, Turkish 7.5cm Howitzer shell with brass fuse. It was supplied to the Turks by the Germany Government to defend and prevent shipping access for Allied forces. They were used during the battle fought at Gallipoli between 25 April 1915 – 9 January 1916 with Turkish forces repelling the Allies. These shells and fuses are seldom seen and in such good condition.
