Product Information

This is a rare M/62 Danish M1 Garand Knife Bayonet with its correct scabbard.  The M/62 is a copy of the U.S. M5A1 bayonet that was adopted by Denmark in 1962.  This is an early production example believed to have been produced by E & F Horster. They have a peened pommel, with later production examples having a smooth pommel that were marked "HMAK." Very few were ever made, around 33,000 all of which were procured for Danish forces. The initials HTK are an abbreviation of Haerens Tekniske Korps - Army Technical Corps.
