This is a rare mid to late 1930s Mauser C96 Schnellfeuer / M712 pistol wooden shoulder stock / holster. On the inside of the door is the period correct Chinese ink stamped proof or acceptance carcouche. During the 1930s Mauser were contracted to supply the Chinese with the C96 Schnellfeuer pistols and shoulder stocks. Visually they are very similar to the WWI German C96 stocks with the only obvious difference being the addition of a belt hoop on the hinge plate. The holster will also fit most C96 variants including the Bolo and Astra models.
