Rarely seen and original military marked Savage M1907 brown leather pistol holster. The initials AE on the rear denote that it was for military use and is an abbreviation for Arsenal dos Exercito. This is a French Portuguese military mark. During WWI the French Government purchase 40,000 M1907s from Savage along with these holsters. This example is still remarkably good original condition.
