A rare First World War Imperial German Army S98/05 'Butcher' knife bayonet with steel scabbard. Manufactured Anker-Werke Bielefeld with the Henckels, 'twins' above. The spine is not dated and carries the Fraktur stamp only. The pommel is marked with a crown over FA (Friedrich August III) Saxony. This combination of markings is very rare with only a handful known to exist worldwide.
