This is an original WW1 Imperial German army Trench phone. The Lower section has a folding metal speaker cup. The in tact earpiece is made from soft padded leather. It still bears much of the original field grey paint with cable and two plugs. Compared to the British phones of this era, this was a very advanced piece of equipment. A rare item.
