Product Information

Rare First World War issued Imperial German army brown leather holster. Marked under the flap with the initials M.G.K.18.A.K, Machine Gun Company. 18th Battalion. Sector Commander. Also stamped with the makers mark, although this is faint and slightly obscured by the A.K. initialing. Above the unit stamps in black ink there are more markings with the letter X still clearly visible. On the back written in ink is the name H.Aspin, and beneath just visible is a previous name. Internally the pull cord is in tact as is the take down tool pouch. A very interesting piece. Many of these surviving first world issued holsters were later reissued for WWII.
