Product Information

This is a rare WWI Trench Mace. It is made from two types of hand grenade. The handle is from an original WWI German model of 1916 "Steilhandgranate" or stick grenade, and the head is from a WWI British Batty fragmentation grenade that was introduced in 1915. During the First World War both sides used a variety of improvised weapons that were used during trench raiding parties. Both parts are inert.
