This is a rare WWI & WWII dated US M1903 leather sling. It has the date stamps of 1917 that is over stamped with 1944. The original makers mark "HOYT" has also been over stamped with "MLS CO".  HOYT is the original maker who made this sling is 1917. These slings were also used on the British No4T rifles. The sling is still in very good overall conditon and is fit for purpose either for use on a live or deactivated rifle. A very survivor!
