This a rare WWII British Air Ministry issued reflector Type I Mark I gun sight with its original matching box. Dated 1944, these types of reflector sights were fitted to various WWII British RAF fighters and bombers. They were mounted in front of the pilot / gunner. A light would project a target with cross hairs onto the angled perspex. The dials below were used for calculating range and distance. This example is in superb original condition with undamaged perspex screen. The wooden case is matched to the reflectors serial numbers and date.
