Product Information

This is rare Canadian Lee Enfield C No7 .22 rifle wooden transit chest. Canadian firm Long Branch only produced around 20,000 C No7 rifles and all were supplied with there own chest. Unlike those that still survive this one has provenance and was used by Sgt N F Bennett, 413 Albert Ave, Saskatoon, Canada. On the lid is a label that shows in 1970 he traveled to Bisley, England to take part in a shooting competition as part of the Canadian Rifle Team. An interesting and very well traveled chest with all hinges, straps and catches intact and working. Very rarely seen in the UK. It is pictured with a No4 rifle for reference and fit.
