Product Information

This is rare Canadian Lee Enfield C No7 .22 rifle wooden transit chest. Canadian firm Long Branch only produced around 20,000 C No7 rifles from 1944 to 1946. All were supplied with their own chest. Very few now survive and this one has provenance. It was used by Sgt N F Bennett, 413 Albert Ave, Saskatoon, Canada. On the lid is a label that shows that in 1970 he traveled to Bisley, England to take part in a shooting competition as part of the Canadian Rifle Team. An interesting and very well travelled chest with all hinges, straps and catches intact and working. Very rarely seen in the UK. It is pictured with a No4 rifle for reference and fit.
