This is a rare WWII German 3.7cm FLAK 18 steel transit case complete with storage racks and shell locking bars. Very few cases are seen with the inner shell racks. Most were removed post WWII and the cases used for other things such as tools cases. This example comes with one original WWII dated 3.7cm FLAK shell. The 3.7 cm Flak 18 / 36 / 37 & 43 was a series of anti-aircraft cannons that were used against Allied aircraft throughout the Second World War.
