Product Information

Rare WWII German MP38/40  "type A" magazine. This magazine was converted from a slab sided to the ribbed type. The ribbing was introduced to help prevent the magazine jamming when contaminated. They differ from the latter and much more common type B magazines with the ribbing starting just below the reinforcing at the top. The type B has the ribbing continuing under the reinforcing. Correctly marked with the makers code 98E (Steyr) with correct Waffen code WaA815, Dated 1941 (41). When converted the Eagle 37 acceptance stamps were added.
