Product Information

This is a rare WWII Japanese Arisaka Paratroopers bayonet with scabbard and correct leather frog that have been converted into a fighting knife. The makers mark on the handle is that of the Toyada Jido Shokki Seisakusho Arsenal. Pressumable the pommel bayonet catch was broken or damaged during combat which made it ideal for converting. The rifle hoop has been removed. The various dings and dents would indicate that it saw plenty of action. Just visible on the back of the original leather frog are Japanese charactors.
