This is a rare WWII Luftwaffe T30-FF  20mm Drum Magazine, with 20 round capacity. The drum was mounted to MGFF 20mm cannons that were fitted to a variety of German fighters and bombers during the war. From 1942 it was phased out in favour of the more powerful MG151/20 cannon. This example has been recovered from a shot down aircraft. The overall condition confirms this. Remarkable the follower and mechanism still work. The type of attachments/mounting brackets on this example would indicate that this was mounted in gun turret or gunners position within a German bomber.
