This is a rare named WWII German Gas Mask & Canister. It has lots of clear Nazi Waffenamt stamps, makers and date codes with its original wartime finish and straps. On the base, hand written is the owners name over which in white paint are more markings. These markings are the German soldier's name and number; Lütz, No 0/11003/??. The gas mask canister is one of the easily identifiable pieces of German kit, and was issued to most troops during WWII.
