This is a rare Second World War Sten MKII spike bayonet with scabbard. The steel catch is maker marked B. & J. Sippel Ltd. who produced the steel parts. Barely legible on the body is the correct makers name B.& J. Ltd followed by their dispersal code which was N152 .
