Product Information

This is a rare Shashka Dragoon model 1881/1909 sword/sabre with its original scabbard and Nagant rifle bayonet. Believed to be Polish, however the manufacturer may still be Russia. Russia produced these swords for Poland and vice versa. The numbers are characteristically Russian. The blade is date stamped 1927 with makers symbol. The cross guard bears the initials "LUN". The scabbard throat has various issue/weapon numbers and exhibits great age. The blade is very good condition with no chips. These weapons were still in use with the Russian army during WWII.
