A pair of Inert WWI British 18 Pound Shrapnel Shells, broad marked and dated. Both brass fuses has suffered impact marks. This would suggest that they failed to detonate on impact. The brass cases are stamped with the initials CF, this means they were fired and then reused. They would make a great display piece. They both stand around 23inches (58.5cm) in height.
