Very rare SMLE No1 MKI, Mills grenade cup launcher. During the Great War the British designed and experimented with different types of attachments for launching grenades from rifles. This particular type was introduced circa 1916 and is one of the less expensive being manufactured from pressed steel. However, this made it very susceptible to corrosion during the harsh conditions of trench warfare and therefore very few now survive. It is available with an original Mills grenade with the correct rifle launching attachment. It can only be attached in conjunction with an SMLE bayonet. Both launcher and grenade are available individually or as a set.
