This is a very rare WWI British .303 aluminum belt with leather taps. The makers initials and year of manufacture are H.G.R. 1916. This type of belt was used on British aircraft guns during the Great War. They could also be used on the Vickers .303 ground guns when canvas belts were not available. The overall condition is still extremely good with all links in working order.
