Product Information

This is a great example of a WW2 Japanese Samurai sword, with scabbard. It was brought back from Burma by James A. L. Pluck, a serving bombardier of the Royal Berkshire regiment in 1945. It comes complete with a letter of provenance from his son who has kept in his ownership since his father's passing. The sword is still in great condition and has good clear crisp markings. The blade is untouched with no chips or dings. The steel scabbard has remnants of the original green painted finish.
