Product Information

This is a First World War dated 1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet & Scabbard. The maker is Wilkinson with the original date of "8 15" August 1915. This bayonet also has several other date and inspectors stamps including 28, 34 & 38 (1928, 1934 & 1938). The pommel is marked "CHS 310" = Cheshire Regiment weapon number 310. The Cheshire regiments fort is both world wars and were part of the BEF in France during 1940 before being evacuated from the beaches of Dunkirk.
