Product Information

This is an original WWI issued Imperial German Army model of 1873 Artillery sword with its steel scabbard. The sword bears the imperial acceptance stamps of 1916 and the makers name Weyersberg Kirschbaum Solingen, and base (chape) of the scabbard also has the imperial acceptance stamp. Although referred to as an artillery sword they were issued to German cavalry units in both world wars. The blade measures 30 inches.
