Product Information

WWI Vickers Machine Gun Clinometer MKI with leather carry case and straps. The Clinometer is made by A.K.& S. Ltd, dated 1916 and broad arrow marked. The case is manufactured by B.H & G Ltd , dated 1930 and broad arrow marked. Marked on both case and clinometer are the initials IFS. Once attached to the Vickers as the barrel was raised it could be measured against the clinometer to find the angle of elevation. They were used by the British in both world wars and in a variety of rolls and other types of weapons. Lovely condition item which would make an excellent display with a first or second world war Vickers.
