Product Information

An original First World War Vickers Machine Gun Clinometer MKI with leather carry case and straps. The Clinometer is by Siemans Brothers & Co Ltd, London, dated 1916. The leather case was made by B.H.& G.L.Ltd date 1930. Both Clinometer & case are broad arrow stamped. Once attached to the Vickers as the barrel was raised it could be measured against the clinometer to find the angle of elevation. Used by the British in both world wars. Lovely condition item which would make an excellent display with a first or second world war Vickers.
