This holster was original designed for a WWI Webley MK6 .455 revolver. It was modified and will now fit a WWII British Enfield or Webley .38 framed revolver. However, it is possible that this modification was done during the Great War for either an Allied or Axis pistol / revolver. It would appear to be a unique example. Often holsters were reworked in this manner in the field.
