Product Information

This is an original WWII British No.4 Mk1 cruciform bayonet with MKI scabbard and canvas frog. The cruciform bayonet was introduced in November 1939 for the Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk1 Rifle and was only produced from late 1941 and into the early months of 1942. The sole maker was the Singer Manufacturing Co. (the famous sewing machine people), at their Clydebank plant near Glasgow, Scotland. Clearly stamped with King George’s royal cypher, designation and SM for Singer Manufacturing.
