WWII British Tank No 39 MKII S, Telescopic Sighting Scope, dated 1943 . This example was designed for the 2 pounder (40mm) & BESA (7.92mm) type coaxial machine gun. When looking through the lens to the left of the cross hairs it reads 6 Pr Gun and on the right MG. It was fitted on a variety of British tanks, including the Matilda Mk.II, A10 Cruiser Mk.II, A13 Cruiser Mk.III-IV, Valentine Mk.III and the A15 Cruiser Mk.VI. It was also found on some Lend Lense Tanks as well. This example has good clear optics and still has its original rubber eye piece.
