Product Information

An original WWII, first year of production, British No48 x 3 L MKI.S. tank Howitzer sighting scope. It was manufactured by A.K.& S. in 1944 and was designed to be used on the British 95mm howitzer and with the BESA 7.92mm machine gun. The 95mm tank howitzer was first introduced in 1944 and was fitted to the Church Mark V and VIII, the Cromwell VI & VIII and the Centaur IV tanks. This example is production number 2,943rd. Below this is the military broad arrow acceptance stamp. When looking through the lens at the top of the cross hairs it reads 95mm HOW and on the right MG. This example has good clear optics.
