A completely original WWII German K98 leather sling. Clearly marked on the leather stopper and buckle. The buckle was made by L&F - Linden & Funke KG, and has the leather protector. This was fitted so that it didn't mark the rifles wood work. The stopper has the makers name and date stamp of 1940, with Waffen stamp WaA101, possible Auwärter und Bubeck, Stuttgart. The sling does have some very faint markings too. Comes complete with buckle, stopper and leather adjuster hoop.

They were also used on a variety other German weapons during WWII, such as the MP44 & G43 rifles.
