Product Information

This is a WW2 German 20mm cannon cartridges developed by Solothurn in the 1930s, and is known as the "Long Solothurn" round. It was used in a variety of roles by the Nazi's. Its main use was as a Flak 30 and 38 Anti Aircraft guns. All parts are clearly marked and dated.
The case is dated 1943 with the makers mark "wg" = Hasag, Hugo Schneider AG, Altenburg and Nazi Waffen acceptance stamp WaA835. The fuse is also dated 1943 and is maker marked "cpn" = Rheinmetall-Borsig AG, Werk Apolda.
