Product Information

The official German names given to the drums and carry frame are The Gurttrommel - Belt Drum and Gurttrommeltrager 34 - carry frame. The drums were made by "hqu" = Markes & Co., K.-G., Metallwarenfabrik u. Apparatebau, Luedenscheidin  in 1942, and "WC" = Hasag, Hugo Schneider AG, Meuselwitz plant, Thuringia in 1944. The carrier is coded "959" and date stamped  "43" (1943), this is a genuine but still unknown maker although the code is most commonly found on various German military items and parts.

This excellent set would be ideal to display on or with an MG34 or MG42, and will also fit post war M53's.
