WWII German K98 bayonet & scabbard

WWII German K98 bayonet & scabbard. The bayonet has Nazi acceptance stamp WaA256. This code was used by a number of bayonet manufactures before and during wartime production. Unusually both bayonet and scabbard have a lack of makers markings and the bayonet  have unique serialisations. The location of the serial numbers is also different from those found on standard military issued bayonets and would suggest that this was issued to non military unit such as the Nazi Police.
