An original WWII dated German K98 Cleaning Kit. The tin is marked "cnx" - G Appel and correctly Waffenamt stamped with WaA20. The tin has its original wartime painted finish and has the initials "K.D" scratched into it. These kits were not exclusively for the K98, but were also issued with some other German weapons for example the MG34, MP40, MP44, MG35 and G43. Soldiers would also us them to clean their pistols to.
