A genuine Second World War German K98 sling, complete with buckle, stopper and hoop. The buckle has a leather protector, this was fitted to prevent damage being caused to wood work of the K98. Visible in the leather is the date stamp 1939 with the makers roundel and the Nazi eagle and Waffenamt acceptance stamp WaA170.
