This is an original early Second World War, German K98 leather sling. The buckle is marked L&F = Linden & Funke KG, Iserlohn. Just visible in the leather is the makers name and date stamp of 1939. It comes complete with an early brass buttoned stopper, buckle and leather adjuster hoop.

They were also used on a variety other German weapons during WWII, such as the MP44 & G43 rifles.
