This is a near mint condition WWII German MG34 or MG42 Trommel & Drum Magazines. The official German names given to the drums and carry frame are The Gurttrommel - Belt Drum and Gurttrommeltrager 34 - carry frame. Both drums and carrier bear the following wartime secret German makers codes. . "hqu" is Markes & Co., K.-G., Metallwarenfabrik u. Apparatebau, Luedenschei 1943, "ddf" is Lohmann-Werke, A.G., Bielefeld and the carrier ismarked  "bpr"=  Johannes Grossfuss, Metall- u. Lackierwarenfabrik, Doebeln, Saxony with the date of 1943.
