This is a WWII German Waffenmeister armourer’s MG34 / MG42 machine gun tool kit. They were used in the field by German armourer's to maintain and repair the MG34 and MG42 machine guns. The kit contains various tools including files, spanners, pliers, gauges, cartridge extractor and a vernier plus a whole host of parts. The kit was cleverly designed to fit into a standard ammunition box. A rare set!
