This is a genuine and completely original WWII issued ZF41 scope case. In 1942 it was ordered that six percent of all K98 carbines manufactured be equipped with the ZF41 mounting base, and issued with the scope and carrying case. The first issues of the scope were designated "ZF41". This case is clearly marked with correct markers code "jvb" Wessel & Müller, Beschlagfabrik Waffen with acceptance stamps eagle over WaA542. It has its original green military painted finish, with leather strap and lid catch . Inside are the padded lined compartments for scope and maintenance tools. It comes with a brush and lens cloth.
