Product Information

This is a rare WWII Nazi occupation Czech VZ-24 scabbard fitted with a bayonet that was manufactured after the Communist take-over in 1948. The DOT 43 scabbard was made at the Brunn plant in Czechoslovakia during Nazi occupation and bears the correct Nazi Waffen stamp Eagle over 63. The bayonet was only produced from 1948 until the Kar 98k rifle production ended in 1950. The communist period VZ–24 bayonets are typically marked "tgf", as the Communist Government adopted a letter code system similar to that used by Germany from 1940–45. "tgf" was the Czech letter Code for Zbrojovka Brno. The blade is superb condition and the scabbard in its original wartime finish.

The bayonet will fit the Czech VZ-24 and the WWII German K98 rifles.
