A superb and original condition WWII Nazi marked MP34 submachine gun bayonet & scabbard. Unlike most that are encountered this example has been Waffenamt stamped with the acceptance mark Eagle over WaA14. This would indicate that it was issued to the German military or police forces. Another unusual feature is the positioning of the stamp. Most military issued bayonets have the WaA acceptance stamps on the other side of the pommel near the top edge by the release catch. The low serial number 1339 is the correct size and font found on German issued weapons. It is well documented that the Waffen SS were supplied with small quantities of MP34's.
