This is a a rare WWII German Nazi police / SS holster. Dated 1940 it was made by Schambach & Co,  Berlin and has the Nazi Eagle/Police acceptance stamp below the date. Nazi equipment including holsters that were allocated to non military groups such as the SS, other associated para military organisations and police units were not Waffen stamped. Another clear indication of this is the fastening tang that goes upward rather than down wards on military issued holsters. The overall condition is very good with all stitching intact, as is the pull cord, belt hoops and fastening tang.
