A lovely original WWII Scout Regiment MK2 snipers spotting telescope, circa 1942. The maker is Broadhurst Clarkson & Company Limited (BC & Co Ltd), serial number 15277 with British military acceptance stamp below. This model was first introduced in 1939 and was issued to British snipers along with there No4T rifle. The sniper was one of the most important and hard working members of a regiment or unit. Often deployed ahead of the troop they could report back on enemy movements and could cause havoc sniping from hidden positions. A rare item to find in such good condition. Comes in leather case with strap. This example is a three draw with anti glare sliding eyepiece shield. All is in very good original condition with good clear optics.
