Product Information

This is a WWII Production SMLE rifle or Lanchester SMG, Wilkinson Sword Company (WSC) 1907 Pattern Bayonet & Scabbard. Dated September 1943 (9'43). Wilkinson were the only contractor to make SMLE bayonets in WW2 with most being issued to the Admiralty for use on Lanchester machine gun. The last contract to Wilkinson was October 1943 and this bayonet would have almost certainly been produced in preparation for the D-Day invasion. This example is marked with WWII dispersal code S294 and the scabbard has the maker marked WJH.
