Product Information

This is a German captured WWII French No51/4514 Trench Periscope with its leather case. The case is property marked to the Waffen SS and the body of the scope with a Nazi eagle acceptance stamp. Correctly, neither scope or case are Waffenamt stamped as this piece of equipment was not issued to the Nazi military. During WWII the SS received large quantities captured foreign equipment. The French maker is S.R.P.I (Société de Recherche et de Perfectionnement Industriel), in Puteaux near Paris (France). The scope is still good working order with clear optics. The case is missing its lid fastener.
