Product Information

A WWII British Fire Patrol Zuckerman Helmet. The label inside states it was issued to Bexhill Council in Sussex during the war. It was designated as the Civilian protective helmet but more commonly known as the Zuckerman helmet. We believe the initials FP stand for Fire Patrol. Sussex was one of the most heavily bombed parts of Britain during the war. The helmet is completely original with its wartime liner and chin strap. It was made by Dyson & Horsfall Limited, Preston and states that they were contracted to Her Majesty of Home Security.
