A very interesting collection of WWII US B17 Flying Fortress engine parts that were recovered from a crash site at Shoebury, Essex. We are unsure as to which particular B17 it came from. There are several B17's that are known to have come down in the area in 1944. All the parts have been in sea/salt water. The parts consist of a pistol casings, the value with spring and pipe work and cabling. Still attached is some sort of ID or makers plate which may shed more light on the plane it belonged to!
