WWII wooden transit chest for a Vickers or Lewis Machine Gun

A WWII wooden transit chest for a Vickers or Lewis Machine Gun, dated 1944. Ideal for a WWII Aussie Vickers being made by Slazenger and dated 1944. Externally it retains both rope carry handles and lid clasps. Internally the condition is excellent with the addition of a rare muzzle defection cone mounting point. All the various compartments are as they should be. Now becoming very hard to find. Ideal to display with a Vickers or Lewis gun. The cone pictured is not included but is available separately.
